Laxmi Hyundai Manang Marsyangdi Club will battle it out with Sahara Club Pokhara in the finals of Magic Moments Third Simara Gold Cup Football Tournament. In Thursday’s semi-final, the big spending side beat Ranipokhari Corner Team 2-1 in tiebreaker. The match went into penalties after both teams failed to break the deadlock in regulation time and the added extra time. Manang goalie, Bishal Shrestha saved two consecutive spot-kicks to pave his team’s way for the ultimate battle.

After the win, Shrestha confidently said that he always trusted in his caliber to save some penalties to snatch away the victory from their opponents. “I kept my eyes on the ball and judget it properly,” he said adding, “I knew I could save few kicks but it was a difficult match to win.”
